Boca Raton Academy

It was (and I hope I speak for the Group) a BLAST! Just seeing everyone and reminiscing was in itself a good time. The DJ was upset cause no one was dancing, they were too busy Yackity-yacking, talk-talk-talking! It was fun to see all the old faces and see how everyone has grown-up (and in some cases “out”). It happens to the best of us!

Among the attendees: David Arnesano, Steve Sanzo, Chris Ciambrone, Mike DiGiorgio, Bob Muller, Pat Jordan, John Griffin, Joe Rogers, Bill Fink, David Wichser, Katie Schuck, Dale Streader, Miss Lombard, Miss Andalia, Miss O’Brien, Mrs Brewer, Sandra Michael, Kurt Burfield, Laurie DeMarco, and Me, of course.

We are planning a 25 year reunion in 2005, should be a Gas-Gas-Gas!!!

Congratulation! Another site milestone achieved. All classes from 1976-1987 now have at least one person registered. The holdout class of 1978 was finally added when Paul Notine registered.

In a little over a year the site has managed to go from zero to over 70 registered grads, attendees, and even a few staffers. Nice going! Thanks to all those that registered, submitted photos, made suggestions, or just visited the site.

Don’t forget to pass along the URL to anyone from BRA that you run into.

Remember being in class, taking a test or doing other assorted work and having the feeling that the teacher’s eyes were on you? Well, don’t look now, but an instructor just created a listing!

Dr. Ellingham may be watching again so be on your best behavior! No cheating…Remember, this site is for all Boca Raton Academy folks so look up an instructor, staff or some other Bulldog today!

Wendy Ruud (Corso) writes: The class of 1980 is starting the organizing of a TWENTY!!! year reunion in June, July or August of 2000. Can you believe how time flies!!

…as for the REUNION of the Millenium, we are dealing with Kathy McNulty at PineCrest who gave me a list of names that she has of the Class of ‘80 alumni. It’s not a very accurate list and we are trying to find lots of alumni interested in a reunion. So far, we have heard from 5. HELP!

Seriously, I understand that many, if not most of you, have forgotten not only your username, but your passwords. Some early folks may never have had one. Obviously my mechanism for helping, well isn’t. So I guess I’ll have to find a new way of helping.

Toward that end, I want you to know that I’m really here to help, REALLY! If you don’t have/can’t remember your username and/or password, don’t be shy. Just ask me and I can send it to you. After all, I see “everything”. Drop me an e-mail at webguy at bocaratonacademy dot com and beg me!

We’re now a domain all to ourselves! If you are reading this you already know about the name change to www.bocaratonacademy.com. We’re all so proud!

As noted in earlier news we’ve been blessed with a wonderful donation to cover the cost of setting up our own domain name! Thanks again to those that made it possible. Don’t forget to tell all your friends and neighbors.

It’s almost like having a baby…you get to pick a name and then have to live with it. Well, a new name for this web site has been selected and our URL will be changing shortly.
